BSC have it all and they deliver again. They punch it here on every cut and bring in Warren Haynes on one song who fits into the band like a glove. I just saw BSC who blew away the band they were warming up for (wont mention any names). This fine southern rock needs to be played LOUD and the Joint at Hard Rock las vegas just didnt comply. You could tell they were hammering down on stage, but come on man just turn the volume up so my ears are ringing after the concert is over. Is that to much to ask? Great album!
Decent but far from BSC Best

So-So album with alot of filler; no nearly as good as there previous two albums. Pick a few songs and move on from here b/c the album is just not one that you will be able to sit through and listen to all the way through more then once which stinks I love Black Stone Cherry but this is hardly there best effort.
This album is great. It took me a few listens to really like it but it’s awesome !
First off let me say I wasn’t really into Kentucky very much at all. I’m definitely in the minority when it comes to Magic Mountain because I’ve always felt that was second only to Folklore and Superstition as far as BSC albums go. With that out of the way, this album is a step in the right direction. The lyrics on this one are almost all about love and women which was a little disappointing, but I won’t nitpick. There’s several instrumental moments on Family Tree that are simply brilliant. The solo breakdown in Bad Habit is fantastic and the two solos on the title track are some of the best sounding passages this band has ever written.
Overall, it’s pretty good. If you like any other BSC albums even a little then there’s something here for you.

I’m more of a heavy metal person,
But.. not bad
Fantastic album with a southern blues twist
Great change of pace for the band. Almost a Black Crowes vibe with better vocals, guitars, and sound. BSC is one of the best bands out there. Never disappoints in an era of no rock. Last rock band standing. Glad they tried something new and killed it. Keep it going guys. Would love to hear more acoustic, covers, and more rock! Whether heavy or southern blues. Just keep the music coming!
Black stone cherry
Straight up bada$$.
A little disappointing
Always look forward to a new BSC album, they’re very unique with their mix of blues rock and soul. This album I find a bit boring though. I’ve listened through it 3 times. There are no catchy guitar riffs or jam. Does not leave me wanting to crank it up.
I have been a fan forever! I love BSC's sound, but I would like a just some acoustic or slower songs like 'The Rambler', for example. This album still kills!
