Heard homesick on 89.5 in Nashville, loved it. Checked out some more stuff, and you have a great sound.
  • That Macon Sound

Music poured out of Macon Ga through the seventies and it was the sound of Southern Rock. Marcus King Band and Carolina Confessions brings back that familiar sound !

Really enjoy listening to this album. IMO, every song is good. Love the guitar and horns mixed with the singers voice. Keeps me coming back.

Never heard of MKB before, so on a whim I decided to give their new CD a try, and very pleased woth that choice. There is so much soul and feeling behind this CD, it sounds like I'm listening to a band thats been around since the 70's, with touches like Van Morrison and The Allman Brothers mixed in. Now I need to go back and listen to thier previous music, but so far, I'm hooked.
  • Great find!

My son is a college DJ and discovered them by chance reviewing a CD. One listen and I was hooked and bought this album this evening. I will be buying more. He has a great voice and writes excellent songs.

MKB continues to mature in all areas. The guitar work was always there but now the vocals and songwriting are really taking off. Amazing record with great production by Dave Cobb.
