  • New Life

This album is one of my all time favorites in the genere. Each track makes it seem as if it was crafted with raw emotion that hits home. Distate, Nerve, Heavy Gloom all make me want to scream at the top of my lungs with the lyrics. This album will always make me think back to the summer of 2015.

TSSF is by far the best pop punk band of its era. My favorite since pre-2004 Blink. Can't wait to see them live November 1st!
  • Love this.

Forever lol'ing at the person who rated the album one star because they don't know what preorder means. Anyways, this album is pure freaking gold. Saw them play it live and wow. Truly amazing. ❤️TSSF

The Story So Far can literally do no wrong at all. Every album they release is just as amazing as the last, and they manage to grow and mature and experiment each time. Their 3rd eponymous album is no different. Lyrically, the band has always been on their A-game, and Parker shows he still has it within him to create memorable and relatable lyrics, font times about a scorned love. This is no different. Much of his lyrics are bitter and angry, and that’s when Parker is as his best. Vocally, he sounds just as great as ever, in his strained vocals that straddle screaming/yelling at times. Instrumentally, the band experiments more. There are enough here for fans of USAD and WYDS, but they also manage to incorporate newer sounds, especially on the track “Phantom”. The only downside to this album was the tracksuit of 10 songs. The album clocks at barely 30 minutes, and I noon wish the album was 2 or 3 songs longer. But, TSSF have always preferred short and sweet. My favorite tracks include: “Nerve”, “Heavy Gloom”, “Solo”, “Smile”, and “Scowl”, but all the songs are great, there is no filler. Buy this album and support this band. They deserve it.

This is only the second review I have ever felt was worth the time. These guys need to spread like wildfire as far as I'm concerned. Their lyrics are solid and their sound is their own. All of their albums are amazing and I do not get sick of listening. Buy this or anyone one of their albums all are top notch.
